http://aprs.fi is a great way to let kids visualize ham radio in action.
If you are at your shack during school hours, go ahead and send a CQ SCR on
APRS. Hereâs how:
Send a message to CQSRVR and the first 2 words of your CQ message are CQ
SCR âŠ
This will go to everyone else that has sent a similar CQ SCR ⊠message.
Then if you see any other calls, send them a direct message to their
callsign to complete the QSO.
You will automatically remain on the CQSRVR distribution for 12 or 24 hours.
